Mashable's Pete Cashmore put on an awesome barcamp style gathering on W 6th st at the Thistle Cafe on Aug 1, 2008. It was the Social Media Camp and featured talks by Michelle Greer, Pete Cashmore, Giovanni, Omar Gallaga, Kristi Kingston, Robert Quigley and more. Probably the next best event of the year after SXSW.
